Back in 2021, I graduated from university and, like many others, lost my job due to COVID. Around the same time, Mother’s Day was approaching, and as we all know, strong mothers deserve to be celebrated.

With very little to do and limited resources, I took an old pallet, pulled it apart, and created an outline of a Great Dane as a Mother’s Day gift. To this day, it’s still my favourite piece I’ve ever made.

All my life, I had studied to become a cyber forensics expert—but who would have thought that making a simple wooden dog outline would change my entire life? At the time, my mother was a dog trainer. She shared my work, and before I knew it, orders started coming in. The rest, as they say, is history.

Since then, I’ve dabbled in many different projects, from planters and chopping boards to rustic furniture. Over time, I discovered my true passion: creating rustic furniture.

For the first two to three years, I worked out of a small 4x10 shed. Then, last year, I was proud to move into a 28ft x 28ft workshop. That space allowed me to expand, create more products, and truly grow the business into what it is today.
